I definitely am getting them, I'm good with all options and all are available--just a little torn and don't want to come off as pompous/stuck up as there are literally no other 1 series around here (or tuned BMWs for that matter)

Well if you have v8 hunter and get killed by a v8 you'll feel pretty silly. So i wouldnt go for one of those. Add1ctd gets my vote.

"BIMM1R"? This is a play on "BIMM3R" popular for M3s. Maybe this trips the M car red flag.
I thought about "e88 N52" for mine but didn't do it because of annual cost to keep it. The dollars are low but it seems like a rip off to me. Jim

It's cheap in PA, but those choices are a bit lame.

Add1ctd is good. I'm sure you'll get a lot of questions about what that means. We used to have Rice80 and everyone thought it was about a ricer car. Had to explain Jerry Rice and his number was 80. sigh.

Something less generic and more humorous. "Serious" vanity plates always look idiotic/douchy.
If I end up getting a 1M down the road, I could see getting a tag like LOL HPFP.

Add1ct. Simple, meaningful, and not retarded.

I've seen a c5 vette that had "436whp" as his license plate. Dumbest shit I've seen. So you're telling me you're 436whp ALL the time no matter the weather, conditions, or elevation you're at? YEA OK BRO |

Sorry none of the above, I like vanity plates but never felt the need to insult someone else's car, motor or anything -- comes off being insecure. This is what I have on my Z coupe:
And what I have as my SN here is what I ordered for the 1. |

Only bought vanity plates once in my life. They were cheaper way back when. Now in IL they are fairly pricey on an annual basis. Fwiw the one time I did have them was when I bought my Audi Coupe GT new. NAUDI.

I'm really satisfied with the car and don't have to advertise it. It's simple and semi-stock but the original design and concept speaks for itself, which is basically why I bought it.. Like yourself, mine is the only one in the area. I've also debadged mine for the same reason. People frequently ask in parking lots, "What is it?", and ask to see inside, etc... It's generally good conversation. It may not be for everyone, but, "laying low" works the best for me. If anything, the opposite works.. A BMW taking the "introverted" approach.. Go figure.. |

Loved this picture...as for the plate, not bad either pretty clever as most people will not understand unless you're an enthusiast.
