Massachusetts inspection

Anyone know of an inspection spot that'll pass with an akra slip on? I went to 3 locations in Springfield and they all said it'll fail if it's not stock. I'm in NYC most of the year, but I'm willing to travel anywhere in Massachusetts . & of course my sticker expires at the end of this month.

I have never heard of an axel back failing inspection. If you had no cats it's a different story. I live in MA and I have to swap stock cats back and forth yearly. PITA but for the 29 dollar sticker and to drive the car on the streets I've got to do it!

I'm not from NY so don't know laws but slip on seems a little crazy. Have your dealer do it if you are close with them.
