Warranty up time for change?.....
As title states warranty ran out December 30th. I have been at odds as to what to do. Sell, mod, buy second toy. I am power hungry, like most, but very hesitant to jump to forced induction if I'm going to keep the E92 long term. I did put a set of BBS Ch-r on this past summer, but that didn't give me the feeling of being complete.
My other thought is replace my daily driven E46 323 that has 266K miles with a E46 M and use it as a Daily.

WIN!!! I am doing the opposite...I have the E46 M3 as a DD, have had an E90 M3 in the past and will get another one soon. You WON'T regret it!

being power happy. getting a E46 M3 is not a good idea if you ask me. even if it will be faster than your DD it will be slower than your E92. unless the E46 has a blower on it lol.
if you dont want a blower but you are power hungry. you either need a blower or different car. |

Wow! Looks like the E46 still has a pretty big fan base around here still. I think that is going to be my route. Have you guys seen the pricing on them lately, albeit 6SP's are a bit scarce, the prices are way lower than I was thinking 12-18K for a good one and saw a high mile (115k) SMG run through Manheim and only bring 8500.
To feed my curiosity for new things, I was able to drive a GTR this morning. Good GOD those things are quick, but with our cars the inside fit and finish is just so much more. I would dare to say the inside of the GTR would hold up for even 40K miles. Well it looks as though I'm on the hunt for a E46 M!! If anyone knows of someone in need of a very good DD with high miles send me a message, the car is pristine high miles or not. I helped A friend move their detail shop to one of my commercial buildings just so I could have use of it to keep up my M and the E46. Inside would fool anyone if you told them it had 50-60k miles. Top it off I have upgraded the whole front end giving it a great aggressive but classy look.
