I got this on my '11 E92 about 2weeks ago. Then the fuel pump malfunction screen came up followed by reduced power screen. Took it in last week and they kept it for several days. They said it was the low pressure fuel sensor. Picked the car up yesterday and so far so good.

I don't have an answer, however I do have suggestions:
"regular guy" keeps a sticky updated in the Engine section. See link below. So I would PM him to see if he can tell you more, check the sticky to make sure your code isn't already accounted for, and post in the engine technical section as you may get a better response from the technical community. Also, the ICV is a common failure along with the throttle actuators. So you may need to replace the ICV but I could be way off base. I am sure there are some electrical checks you could do with a multimeter to determine if it is the ICV. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=928325 Cheers! |
