Limp Mode: 3x in one week
So I've had the car go into limp mode 3 times since exactly 1 week ago. I've had the car scanned and also brought into the dealer for service. My Indy and the dealer code both turned up 'brake booster vacuum leak' had the car at the dealer yesterday and supposedly took care of it by cleaning corrosion build up by the brake booster. That was yesterday and car went into limp mode again tonight.
Any one experience this particular code before. I've had the car 1 year and it's been problem free. I'm fearing this might be the start of those nagging little problems that just won't go away. On top of that, I just got a letter from the dealer asking if I'd like to move into a new 3/4 series without losing any money on the trade... Now it's got me thinking... |

they will most likely replace the brake booster assembly due to a vacuum leak if they tried to fix it and it broke again. It's not unheard of to fail on the e9x platform.

so i think i had this same issue occur last week; they replaced a ton of parts and after 3 attempts to get it fixed, they did succeed.......its got me worried though; i was under the impression that a ton of people with the e9x m3's had none/very little issue....im not so sure anymore
