P0100 Code where to start TS?

I have a 09 M3 stock 42k, I keep getting the P0100 code after clearing at every startup. I have noticed on cold starts it takes a bit longer to start and the rpm are pretty rough dipping to 400 and shooting up. I found a cracked intake boot which I replaced anything else that I should check or clean out?

Since our cars don't have a MAF sensor, can this possibly be the IAT (Air intake Temp sensor) going bad?
