2008 m3 clutch, t/o bearing and flywheel replacement cost?

I am planning to have my clutch replaced and I'm aware that 2008 cars need to replace the flywheel as well with 09+ flywheel.

What is the expected parts and labor cost? I prefer to buy aftermarket to save money if possible and find an Indy to install.

Thanks
Rob

Flywheel alone is 1900$, clutch kit is 650$. Figure 4 hours minimum.

Your better of going with a stock clutch as many supercharged setups and holding fine.
Are these retail prices?

Thanks

Why are you planning to change your clutch?

I am thinking about installing an ESS kit and thought this might not be a bad time to consider putting in a fresh clutch. The replacement flywheel is making this a difficulty decision due to cost. If I could utilize my original flywheel then $500 parts and 4 hours labor would not be a big deal.

Buy a spec clutch and flywheel on the spec website for $1664. They are running a 10% discount right now. Just got myself one. You wont find a better deal then that.

Clutch is totally different job than supercharger install. Not much economy if scale in doing both at same time. If you have high miles or have tracked your car a lot, the clutch could be worn. If not it is probably fine. You can change it later if needed.

Thanks for the info guys. I will just wait for it to go before I replace it. Doubt ESS kit will accelerate wear too much since I am normally a light driver except for the occasional blast.
