I didn't like how the outer tips on the Dinan exhaust are phony (they have a diagram online) and the style of the tips.

Other than that I read the sound is refined and there is very little drone compared to others.

Also consider that the gains from an axle back alone are very small (if not non-existent) since most, if not all restriction, come from the cats.

I'm thinking about buying the Dinan Free Flow Exhaust for my 2013 M3 ZCP DCT, it adds 6 horsepower and 5 lb-ft of torque; the BMW Performance exhaust adds zip. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about their exhaust?

I love my Dinan exhaust. The sound is harmonious with the intake sound. It's not too loud or too quiet. IMO...it's perfect. The black tips look great on my JB car and I don't really care about the fact that only one visible tip is open.

Performance wise, both the MPE and Dinan are probably the same. You won't get much gains from a bolt on exhaust.

And wow have they jacked up some of the prices! I have been thinking about the CF intake which was $899. Saw this thread so went back to the Dinan website and it is now $999!!!

Wow I hope that's a mistake.

I'd get the exhaust if the tips weren't fake and the intake was cheaper.

Still there. I have not proceeded all the way to check but no sign of the 15% off. Guess they would apply that at check out...

Agreed, you need a supercharger, a tune and full exhaust to care about the HP...
The gains you get from an axel back are marketing...to get the suckers to buy ...

Axel backs are for looks, sound, and minor weight reduction ..... and yes unnoticeable HP gains..

I had the Dinan on my 2011 and loved it, but had to pair it with the Challenge Street Pipe to really get the full benefit of it.
